Using Wi-Fi on my Giga Hub modem

How to find the Wi-Fi name and password on my Giga Hub modem

To find and manage your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password, you can use Bell Business Wi-Fi app or you can log in and access modem settings.

How to view Wi-Fi information in the Bell Business Wi-Fi app

With the Bell Business Wi-Fi app, you can create three separate Wi-Fi SSID zones: Secure, Employee and Guest. Each SSID zone can have a unique password so you don’t have to give private information to guests.

To view or share a Wi-Fi password for the Secure and Employee zones:

  1. Open the Bell Business Wi-Fi app and log in with your Business Self serve email and password.
  2. Touch the settings gear icon on the top right of the page.
  3. Select the zone you wish to share the Wi-Fi password for.
  4. To share with a mobile device: touch the Share icon beside the hidden Wi-Fi password. Scan the QR code with the other device’s camera to join your network without entering a password.

You can also touch Show to reveal the hidden Wi-Fi password.

To view the Wi-Fi password for the Guest zone:

With the Bell Business Wi-Fi app your guests can connect to your Wi-Fi network using a custom guest Wi-Fi login portal. This allows guests to connect without a password. Get help setting up your guest Wi-Fi login portal.

  1. Open the Bell Business Wi-Fi app and log in with your Business Self serve email and password.
  2. Touch the settings gear icon on the top right of the page.
  3. Touch Guest Wi-Fi.
  4. Touch Set up guest login portal.
  5. Touch Login options.
  6. Your Guest zone password is located under Connect with Passcode. You can share this passcode with your customers, or you can toggle the other login options to offer a password-free guest connection experience.

How to view Wi-Fi information in the modem settings:

  1. Open your web browser and visit bell.ca/mymodem or 192.168.2.1.
  2. Click on Manage my Wi-Fi.
  3. If prompted, enter the administrator password.

Unless you’ve changed it, the password is the serial number located on the sticker on the back of the modem.

  4. Under the Manage my Wi-Fi heading, you’ll find your network names and passwords.
