Using Wi-Fi on my Giga Hub modem

How to configure the guest Wi-Fi network on my Giga Hub modem

Devices connected to the guest Wi-Fi network can only connect to the Internet. Before you can enable the guest network, the primary network must be on. To find and manage your Wi-Fi network name (SSID) and password, you can use Bell Business Wi-Fi app or you can log in and access modem settings.

About the Guest zone in the Bell Business Wi-Fi app:

The Bell Business Wi-Fi app lets you create three separate Wi-Fi SSID zones (Secure, Employee and Guest) to add an extra layer of protection for your sensitive devices. Each SSID zone can have a unique password so you don’t have to give private information to guests. Get help to configure your Employee and Secure zones.

Guest zone

  • Access level: Connect to Internet only; no local network access. This protects sensitive information on devices in the Secure and Employee zones.
  • Meant for devices belonging to your customers, visitors and clients.
  • Your guests will use a custom login portal when connecting to the guest SSID. The guest portal can be customized with your company name, logo, and terms and conditions to provide a branded experience. Multiple login options are available for the guest portal so you are not required to set up a password.

To create and manage your guest Wi-Fi login portal:

  1. Open the Bell Business Wi-Fi app and log in with your Business Self serve email and password.
  2. Touch the settings gear icon on the top right of the page.
