Bell and City of Orillia announce smart city partnership

Bell is proud to partner with the City of Orillia on an initiative to develop the city into a model smart city for the province and Canada. The partnership includes implementing digital kiosks to promote local businesses, a public Wi-Fi network, a fleet management solution to monitor city snowplow progress, and a solution to monitor the city’s sanitary sewer system.

The City of Orillia will also be implementing a smart city platform to aggregate data and provide a comprehensive view of the connected solutions.

Water monitoring and groundwater inward seepage detection
