My TV is showing Error 015: Please standby for the satellite signal
If you see the error code
015 at the top-right corner of the error message on your TV , please note the following:
Are you experiencing bad weather conditions in your region? Water-heavy clouds, hail, wet snow and freezing rain are the most problematic weather conditions that could affect your signal.
• If weather conditions are affecting your signal, you may not see a change until the weather has improved.
If the weather is not the issue, check the following:
- Loose/missing connections:
Check that the cable coming from the satellite dish is connected to Satellite In on the back of your receiver. Dual tuner receivers need one cable connected to each of the Satellite In spots at the back of your receiver.
- Reset your receiver:
On most models, simply hold the POWER button on the front of your receiver for 5 to 8 seconds. Allow the receiver to turn on, search for the satellite signal and download the guide.
During this process, it is normal to see Error 015 and Attention 330 on your TV screen.
-
Check your power inserter:
If you have an HD PVR or multiple receivers on your account, you may have a device called a power inserter to power your satellite installation. Check to ensure it is still plugged into a power outlet.
If the problem persists, please contact customer care.
Note: Be sure to let the representative know if you have already tried resetting your receiver.

My Bell Business Satellite TV signal fluctuates
Your TV reception will fluctuate if your Bell Business TV receiver momentarily loses the signal from the dish. If your reception comes and goes, check the following:
A.
Loose connection To check for a loose connection, look on the back of your receiver and locate the SATELLITE IN input (some receivers have two). If the connectors at the end of the cables are loose, simply tighten them by hand.
B.
Bad weather Severe rain storms, hail, wet snow and freezing rain can affect your TV signal. If you’re experiencing bad weather in your area, please be patient. Your signal will return when the weather clears.
C.
Obstructions A growing tree and accumulated snow are the most common obstructions that hinder satellite signals from reaching your dish.
o If you believe a growing tree is in the way, please contact us to have a technician relocate the dish.
o If it's safe, you can gently remove the accumulated snow. Be careful not to move the dish.
If you have checked all of the above and the signal still fluctuates, please contact customer service.
