How to change existing wireless settings on my Sagemcom 2864 modem
- Open a web browser.
- Type http://home or http://192.168.2.1 in the address bar, then press Enter on your keyboard.
- When prompted, enter the Connection Hub username (the default is admin).
- Enter the Connection Hub password (the default is admin).
- Click OK.
- Click Wireless.
- To change the network name (SSID), delete the current SSID.
- Enter a new network name.
- To change the network password, delete the current password.
- Enter a new password.
- Scroll to and click Save to update your wireless settings.

How to access the Connection Hub settings
- Open a web browser.
- Type http://home or http://192.168.2.1 in the address bar, then press Enter on your keyboard.
- When prompted, enter the Connection Hub username (the default is admin).
- Enter the Connection Hub password (the default is admin).
- Click OK.
- Your Connection Hub status page will appear. From here, you can access the settings.

- Click Browse.
- Click on the file server.
- The files are displayed.

How to reboot my Sagemcom 2864 modem
- On your modem, locate the power cable.
- Remove the cable. Wait 10 seconds and reinsert the cable.
- The lights on the front (except for the power LED) will blink as the modem goes through its start-up routine.
- Wait until the WAN, INTERNET and TV lights turn blue. Your modem is now connected to the Internet.

How to reset TCP/IP (Windows)
- Click Start.
- Click Run.
- Enter cmd.
- Click OK.
- Enter netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt in the command console.
- Press Enter on your keyboard.
- Wait briefly while TCP/IP is reset and a log file is created.
- To view the log file, click Start.
- Click My Computer.
- Click Local Disk (C:).
- Scroll to and double-click on resetlog.txt.
- The log for the TCP/IP reset is displayed.
- The log will confirm that the reset has been completed.

How to update my Bell Business Internet user ID and password on my Sagemcom 2864 modem
- Open a web browser.
- Type http://home or http://192.168.2.1 in the address bar, then press Enter on your keyboard.
- When prompted, enter the Connection Hub username (the default is admin).
- Enter the Connection Hub password (the default is admin).
- Click OK.
- The Connection Hub status page will appear.
- Click Internet.
- Delete the current user ID.
- Enter the new Bell Internet user ID (b1 number).
- Delete the current password.
- Enter the new Bell Internet access password.
- Click Save.

How to connect to a wireless network (Mac)
- Click the wireless network icon.
- Select the wireless network you want to use (e.g., My Bell Network).
- Enter the password for the wireless network.
- Click Join.
- Wait while the Mac connects to the network.
- The Mac is now connected to the wireless network.

- Click the wireless network icon.
- Select the wireless network you want to use (e.g., My Bell Network).

- For the security key, enter the password for the wireless network.
- Click OK.
