Adding and removing Talkgroups

To create a new Broadcast Talkgroup:
  1. From the navigation on the left side of the screen, click Talkgroups.
  2. Click Create Talkgroup.
  3. From the drop-down menu, select Broadcast.
  4. Enter a name in the Talkgroup Name field.
  5. Click the Assign Broadcasters icon to assign broadcasters to the group. A window will appear with a list of available contacts.
  6. Select the contacts you would like to add to the group by checking the box beside their names, then click Assign.
  7. Click on the Members tab.
  8. Click the Assign Members icon to assign members to the group. A window will appear with a list of available contacts.
  9. Select the contacts you would like to add to the group by checking the box beside their names, then click Assign.
  10. When you are finished assigning broadcasters and members, click Save.
  11. A confirmation will appear at the top of the screen. Click OK to continue.
To create a new Dispatch Talkgroup:
  1. From the navigation on the left side of the screen, click Talkgroups.
  2. Click Create Talkgroup.
  3. From the drop-down menu, select Dispatch.
  4. Enter a name in the Talkgroup Name field.
  5. Click the Assign Dispatchers icon to assign dispatchers to the group. A window will appear with a list of available contacts.
  6. Select the contacts you would like to add to the group by checking the box beside their names, then click Assign.
  7. Click on the Members tab.
  8. Click the Assign Members icon to assign members to the group. A window will appear with a list of available contacts.
  9. Select the contacts you would like to add to the group by checking the box beside their names, then click Assign.
  10. Click on the Supervisors tab.
  11. Click the Assign Supervisors icon to assign supervisors to the group. A window will appear with a list of available contacts.
  12. Select the contacts you would like to add to the group by checking the box beside their names, then click Assign.
  13. When you are finished assigning dispatchers, members and supervisors, click Save.
  14. A confirmation will appear at the top of the screen. Click OK to continue.
To create a new Standard Talkgroup:
  1. From the navigation on the left side of the screen, click Talkgroups.
  2. Click Create Talkgroup.
  3. From the drop-down menu, select Standard.
  4. Enter a name in the Talkgroup Name field.
  5. Click the Assign Members icon to assign members to the group. A window will appear with a list of available contacts.
  6. Select the contacts you would like to add to the group by checking the box beside their names, then click Assign.
  7. Click on the Supervisors tab.
  8. Click the Assign Supervisors icon to assign supervisors to the group. A window will appear with a list of available contacts.
  9. Select the contacts you would like to add to the group by checking the box beside their names, then click Assign.
  10. When you are finished assigning members and supervisors, click Save.
  11. A confirmation will appear at the top of the screen. Click OK to continue.
To remove a Talkgroup:
  1. On the left side of the screen, click Talkgroups.
  2. Click on the Delete icon to the right of the Talkgroup you would like to delete.
  3. A confirmation will appear. Click OK to continue, or Cancel to stop the deletion.
