How to change the closed captioning settings on your receiver
Closed captioning (CC) displays an on-screen transcription of the audio portion of a program as it occurs (either word for word or in edited form), and sometimes includes non-speech or action elements.You can turn closed captioning on or off at any time during live and recorded programs by following these steps:
1. Press Menu button on the top left of your Bell remote control.
2. Select Preferences (option 8) from the main menu.
3. Select Closed Caption (option 6) from the Preference menu.
4. To turn captions on or off, select option 1.
5. With the blue arrows of the remote, select the desired option.
6. Select Done.
7. Press the VIEW LIVE TV button on your remote to return to your programming.
You can also customize the way closed captions appear on your screen by changing the font size, colour, etc.:
1. Press Menu button on the top left of your Bell remote control.
2. Select Preferences (option 8) from the main menu.
3. Select Closed Caption (option 6) from the Preference menu.
4. Select and make changes to any of the seven options.
5. Select Done.
6. Press the VIEW LIVE TV button on your remote to return to your programming.
Note: Selecting Reset CC Defaults will reset the closed captioning settings to the factory defaults.
